✦ Account & Data

Delete your account and your data

You are in control of your information. This page explains how to remove your Ventry account, what is deleted, what we are required to keep, and for how long.

Ventry · consumer app

✦ Step by step

How to delete your account

You can delete your account yourself, at any time, from inside the Ventry app.

1

Open the Ventry app and sign in.

2

Tap the Account tab at the bottom of the screen.

3

On the Personal info tab, tap Help Centre.

4

Choose “I want to delete my account”.

5

Confirm your identity — enter your password, or, if you signed up with Google or Facebook, type your email address.

6

Type DELETE in the confirmation box and tap Delete my account.

If you cannot access the app

Email support@ventry-app.com from the address registered to your Ventry account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We will verify that you own the address and complete the deletion within 30 days of confirming your identity.

Deletion takes effect immediately. You are signed out on every device, your sign-in credentials stop working, and the account cannot be recovered or reactivated. This cannot be undone.

✦ Data only

Delete data without closing your account

You do not have to close your account to remove information from Ventry.

In the app

Remove your profile photo, address, phone number and business description, and delete individual portfolio items, packages, services and business documents you uploaded — all from the Account tab.

By request

Email support@ventry-app.com with the subject “Delete my data”, from your registered email address, describing the data you want removed. We respond within 30 days.

We cannot delete records we are legally required to keep — see Retention periods below.

✦ Transparency

What is deleted, what is kept

Deleting your account permanently removes your personal information from Ventry.

Deleted immediately

Removed from Ventry for good

✓ Your name — first, middle and last
✓ Your email address — replaced with a placeholder that cannot receive mail
✓ Your phone number and address
✓ Your profile photo and profile description
✓ Your password
✓ Your linked Google or Facebook sign-in connections
✓ Any outstanding password-reset links
✓ Private notes stored on your customer profile
✓ Your business listing is removed from search results
✓ All active sessions are revoked and push notifications are switched off on every device

Kept, anonymised

Kept, but no longer linked to you

These records are retained in anonymised form. They no longer contain your name, email address, phone number or photo, and cannot be used to identify you.

• Bookings — because other people (customers, organisers and suppliers) are party to them and depend on the record.
• Payments, invoices and refunds — required for tax, accounting and dispute resolution.
• Reviews and ratings you wrote or received — so other users' ratings stay accurate.
• Safety, reporting and moderation records — so that account deletion cannot be used to erase a suspension or a report filed against an account.

✦ How long

Retention periods

What happens to each category of data after your account is deleted.

Data

Retention after deletion

Personal information
Name, email, phone, address, photo, password, sign-in links

Erased from live systems immediately. Residual copies in encrypted backups are overwritten within 30 days.

Anonymised booking, payment and invoice records

Retained for 10 years to meet Philippine tax and accounting record-keeping requirements.

Anonymised reviews, ratings, reports and moderation records

Retained indefinitely for platform safety and integrity.

Server and security logs

Retained for up to 90 days, then deleted.

✦ Before you start

When deletion is not yet possible

Deletion is paused while you still have commitments to someone else on the platform.

The app will tell you which of these applies

• A booking that is still going ahead — complete or cancel it first.
• A payment that is still being processed — try again once it has settled.
• An unpaid balance on a booking — settle or cancel it first.
